Wherever I go in town I hear, "You're the Cake Lady!" and while I can't tell you where the inspiration to decorate truly came from, my catering is definitely a spin off of Cubbie Greene's unmatched culinary expertise. My grandmother, a restaurateur that fed the town with love and soul. I remember watching the droves of hungry patrons from near and far come into my grandmother's soul food kitchen. Each and every one of them left full and happy as if they had just come home for the holidays, they were warmed through and through by the food and that wonderful chef that prepared each and every plate with love. Since then I have been committed to giving only the best at every event whether my recipes are on the dinner menu, dessert or both!
