*Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc

The Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter (MDA) was chartered on August 8, 1985 as the 754th chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In 1988, MDA was granted incorporation papers by the State of Texas to purchase property for the establishment of a life development center known as One Delta Place (ODP). ODP consists of a conference room, technology lab, and a spacious meeting room used for large group meetings, seminars or workshops. For the past 25 years ODP has served as a visible sign in the Dallas community where youth, adults and families are exposed to empowering and uplifting seminars; workshops and a variety of community services tailored to meet their needs.
